Hello, I'm Derryn, a Somerset wedding photographer specialising in natural, documentary-style wedding photography and hybrid wedding films.

As a hybrid wedding photographer, I can capture both your wedding photography and a cinematic highlight film using one camera setup.

That means you don't need a separate photographer and videographer following you around throughout the day. Just one person, working naturally and unobtrusively, capturing your story through both photographs and film.

It's a simple, relaxed approach that allows you to spend more time enjoying your wedding and less time worrying about cameras.

Based just outside Bath, I photograph weddings throughout Somerset, Bath, Bristol and the wider South West.

As a Somerset wedding photographer, I regularly capture weddings at beautiful countryside venues, including Priston Mill, Coombe Lodge, Orchardleigh and many more.

I'm also an experienced Bath wedding photographer, photographing intimate ceremonies, micro weddings and full-day celebrations at venues including Bath Guildhall, the Roman Baths and the Royal Crescent Hotel.

I believe the best wedding photographs happen when you're too busy enjoying your day to notice the camera.

Rather than constantly directing or staging moments, I work quietly in the background, capturing the laughter, happy tears, unexpected reactions and everything that makes your wedding unique.

Of course, I'm always happy to offer a little gentle guidance for couple portraits and family photographs, but nothing stiff, awkward or overly posed.

Alongside your wedding photography, I can create a beautifully edited 3–5 minute highlight film, capturing the movement, emotion and atmosphere of your day.

And because everything is captured by one person, your photographs and film share the same natural, documentary style.
